In Het Rond

In Het Rond

A Resort capsule inspired by St. Maarten and the friendly warmth of the Dutch Caribbean, with palette inspiration from the textures, colors of the sport of tennis. Poplins, voiles and gauzes are balanced by chambray denims and open-stitch sweaters.

The Talented Dickie Greenleaf

The Talented Dickie Greenleaf

A romp through the southern Italian coast, inspired by the wardrobe and costumes of “The Talented Mr. Ripley” (both male and female). A celebration of a sun-bleached palette, lightweight natural fabrics, sensual silhouettes and the flexibility of the feminine and masculine.

Faces, Places

Faces, Places

Inspired by a viewing of “Rear Window” and noting the similarities to the work of Edward Hopper, in framing, philosophy and color palette. How do people behave—and dress—when they think no one is watching?

Ariadne auf Naxos

Ariadne auf Naxos

Inspired by the Greek myth of Ariadne, who betrayed her country in the name of love only to be abandoned by her lover on the beach—but imagined in a pre-Raphaelite palette. Chunky, “tattered” knits, barely-there jerseys and sailcloth canvas convey the disorientation of Ariadne’s betrayal.

Backrooms

Backrooms

A capsule inspired by the easy sensuality of 1970’s nightlife. A tribute to everyone whose night didn’t end at Studio 54 with silks, chiffons, jerseys, lace, jacquards and failles.

New Academia

New Academia

Reimagining Ivy League style through the lens of understated romance. A classic fall palette brightened by bold turquoise and royal blue. Silhouettes focus on the body and a woman’s relationship with her form, and how that relationship is influenced by academia.

Specific Objects

Specific Objects

Inspired by artist Donald Judd’s work, process and philosophy— ”actual space is intrinsically more powerful and specific than paint on a flat surface…it isn’t necessary for a work to have a lot of things to look at, to compare, to analyze one by one, to contemplate. the thing as a whole, its quality as a whole, is what is interesting.”
